Ghost Story

Old houses or new houses,  there's always a story behind every front door. Before I begin a home inspection I always wonder what has happened in this home in the past. Was there a murder? Did this family fight at night over the dinner table? Was abuse once a residence behind these closed doors. I'm not superstitious but I have been in places where I've felt extra energy. I know what a weirdo, right? I believe we all have this sixth since if not places like Knotts Scary Farm wouldn't do so well or the Queen Mary wouldnt give us the creeps late at night while sleeping on board.

The reason I decided to place this entry on my blog is because I was recently at a home inspection in Corona and I was doing what I normally do when performing a home inspection. I was photo documenting rooms and defects. I was all alone, my clients went to breakfast. Can you believe that? Rather than watch me walk around for hours discovering wonderful facts in regards to there future residence they rather get pancakes? Anyways I digress. So I came back to the office that day and downloaded the picture. When I was editing through the pics I noticed what looked like a lady's arm, shoulder, hair and the back-end of a dress. The dress wasn't any dress it appeared to be from the Victorian period. Blue felt like material, long sleeved with a white laced cuff. The woman's body position was set in motion as if she was dancing by me.

I was very perplexed because like I said I was all alone and I did not know what to make of this. I showed my wife, colleagues, family and anybody else who would listen. They all agreed that the image was of a woman and they all agreed that I was pulling there chain. There wasn't much I could do to try and prove story. The image wasn't misty or anything like that. It actually looked like a woman was there and since I couldn't prove that I was alone or that picture was actually taken on an inspection, there's was nothing I could do. So its long been forgotten but I was wondering if any other HOME INSPECTORS have any of those similar types of stories.
